| Gypsy Stones Treasures of the Earth These unique creations are created using hand selected Gem stones. These are then individually sculpted in various designs using color matched clay. Other effects such as silver, shell or small gemstones are often added to enhance the design. Each one is hand made and unique. 1997. Bob Hornung, an internationally known sculptor and painter, was traveling on a train to Krakow, Poland with an old Gypsy couple. The woman was wearing a large stone pendant embellished with clay and bits of silver. Bob found that this was an old and prized possession. The encounter was soon forgotten as Bob did not make jewelry. Years later as his attention turned to jewelry, this encounter provided the idea for a unique style of pendant.
